This week I am focusing on up-cycle projects.

Up-cycle (according to Oxford Dictionary) is "Reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of a higher quality or value than the original"

I tend to look at an item and immediately think of how to recycle it. I am trying to think more like Issey Miyake's quote (above.)

I have a stack of items set aside for up-cycling projects. But first I have to focus on a use. I not, my fabric hoarding will get out of control.

This week I have a goal of completing 4 up-cycling projects. Stay tuned to see what I come up with.
